It’s Been A Long since I left you >>>>>> You know the rest .

I wanted to jump start my new blog with a look back at things . Give you an insight from some what of an outsiders perspective. As most of you may know I am no longer in Michigan. I packed up and moved to Beverly …….Hills that is . Oh wait different song sorry. . I moved to Charlotte almost 3 years ago. So things I see are from a distance. But my heart is still there right along side of you . I hear its beat in the music you create.  Some of you know my as Jay, some of you know me as Acclamid or Acc. Some get confused by Milliun , but that one I’m keeping  thanks to Uncle P. In the end though it’s still me Jay Mills.

I wanted to take a few seconds and let everyone know what has been happening in my life, All of us know that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This causes us to have to make adjustments to our priorities. In doing so we lose sight of some of the things we really want to do for our selves. For instance this site. Please understand that I love this site . I want it to become so much more than it is . Uncle P and I thought it was best to get this site back in the day and turn it into a positive place for our love ( no homo ) to grow. That love was and still is the music that is made on our streets.

I feel we have done a damm good job at bringing this site up from out of the gutter !! A few months back we branched out in an effort to make our site even more powerful. This I feel has happened. Have you and I seen the true power of our team ? NO , and life is to blame.

See we all have our own things going on , much like all of you. Families, Jobs, Health Issues and things like that. It makes it hard to keep this music in the forefront. I wish there was a way to live breath and die by all of this but it would be a painful process that I’m sure none of us would want to go through.

You see what a little push can do . Kev got the ball rolling again after a few months of seemingly non-existence. The troops have been put on notice and work is being done. Sometimes that’s all it takes. So if we have left any of you sitting and wondering WTF are these cats doing with this place let me tell you !!!! The squeaky wheel gets greased!!!!!  If we start slacking off , or you aren’t seeing things happen like you thought they would , start sounding off . Send us Emails , Call our phones. We all need a little push or a reminder of things left undone . Life is funny that way.

So not to make excuses I wanted to give you a little insight to my hiatus.

End of November I started to get distracted , mostly due to my job, and the fact family was coming in for Thanksgiving. This led into December , I was to be in Michigan pretty much all month. I had planned on meeting up with a lot of people to make this site better and reconnect with others. But this is where shit took a turn . Work was pretty busy, and I was on mad overtime. The end of the first week though I was sent on a whirlwind journey. My grandfather whom I have been closer to than most people in my life passed away at the age of 90. This was especially hard on my because my father was in China on business. So I had to act as his representative. Making funeral plans, buying caskets, getting food together for the wake. Did I mention the Southern Comfort and Cherries? I took it upon myself to drown my sorrows in his favorite drink. This made for harder fuzzier days .

That sad ordeal was in the making a long time , I am sure some of you have gone through similar issues. No amount of pre planning will help the pain . This led to Christmas. My whole family together. Christmas morning I find out my wife of 10 years is pregnant with our second child. WE ARE BOTH STILL SURPRISED . Needless to say we never planned to have a second child let alone one 9 years past our first. But life beats on. We make the best of what we got . In the end we are lucky 9 years no birth control !!!!!! WTF were we thinking . . …..

I made it through December in a daze. Not much Else was on my mind. Never did meet up with P , Kev Pat and Will. Next time for sure , maybe June.

So that leads us to January. Seems like this is the month to start a new. But wait. This is the month of my heart attack 2 years prior at 33 . So this means I will be in and out of the cardio docs office all month. Check up , Check Down check all around. Blood test , Stress test , Nuclear tests. you name it . Doc found some lack of circulation in the area of my stents. I was sent in yesterday for another heart Cath. They cut a hole in my artery on my leg right in the groin area and ran a cath up to my heart . Just to see how things looked. I’m doing ok , back home recovering and getting around just fine. SO just gotta eat better and exercise more , Ill be ok . I will live another day .One more post , one more update , one more call to Uncle P .

There you have it . My reasons I have been distant. There are more of us now and we should get to the point when one of us falls the others can pick up the slack . We got to get there first . Bare with us. We all got a lot of work to do.
